What is "Rooting?"
The Android phone that you have learned to love and enjoy is running an operating system that was designed for commercial and private use. Like most any operating system, several features have been
disabled, either for future use or to prevent the casual user from causing permanent damage to the operating system. "Rooting" is the process in which
the limitations are removed and full-access is allowed.
Once rooted, the Android phone owner will have more control over many settings, features and performance
of their phone. Basically, "rooting" means to get to the root of the operating system and to have the ability to make global changes.

Advantages of Rooting

Phone despite certain risks.

Remove unwanted Apps (aka Bloatwares)
and Save Memory

every manufacturer
got their own flavors, They also ship it with default Apps which cannot be removed or disabled without root permissions. These unwanted default Apps are called “Bloatwares”. For example you may never use
Stock Calendar App or Carrier based Apps, So you can simply remove all of them and make your Android light.
Beware that disabling some Apps might entirely break your device, But there are very few such Apps like Google App etc. Its better to check for the list of safe to remove Apps for your particular
Android device.

Every smartphone comes with a specification called processor clock frequency , The manufacturer
actually limits the clock frequency to Certain extend for better battery life but using apps like set CPU you can increase or decrease the clock frequency.

Rooting may void your phone warranty

After rooting if you get any hardware or software
problem you can not claim your warranty, Its
perfectly legal to root your Android phone but
some manufacturers won’t give support if they find
you rooted the device. So, If you still have
warranty period to cover then kindly check the terms of use of your phone manucaturer before rooting.
Increased Security Concerns
This is the most important reason for locking the superuser permissions on Android devices.

At extreme case it may Brick your Phone

Bricking is a term used to denote serious problems
caused to your phone which is difficult to recover,The term refers that your phone become a brick(Yes they do). If you do mistakes while rooting your device or if phone switches of in between the
process then your phone may get bricked.
There are several levels of bricking, Some may be easy to repair but at extreme case you can’t use phone anymore. But, good news is rooting process is well understood now and many good and tested
tutorials are written. So check that any person complained about the tutorial or author himself tried it or not.Also, Charge your device upto 70%
before proceeding with rooting process...
