Coming from 4.1 :-

1) Reboot to Recovery, and Make a Backup First.Compulsory.
2) Flash any 4.2 Kernel
3) Reboot to system.
4) Boot to Recovery again.
5) Data Factory Reset.
6) Wipe Cache Partition.
7) Wipe Dalvik Cache.
8) Format System.
9) Format Data.
10) Format Cache.
11) Flash The ROM.zip
12) Reboot to system.
13) Do the Setup.
